Shree Jagannathpuri is one of the pious pilgrimage tour destinations for Hindus, is also one of the four great Chardham situated at the shore of the city Bhuvneshwar in the Odisha an Indian state.

This temple is dedicated to the Lord Jagannath a form of Lord Vishnu was build by the great King Indradyumna this temple is famous for its annual Rath Yatra or Chariot festival in which three main deities are pulled on a huge rath decorated in temples shape.

This huge and gorgeous temple holds a great importance in Hinduism and especially to those belonging to Vaishnavism. The lives of many great philosophers or saintslike Ramanuja, AdiShankaracharya, and Ramananda are associated with the history of this pilgrimage. It is believed that the Emar Mutt was established by Ramanuja near the temple and also the Govardhan Mutt which is one for the prime seats of Shankaracharya is also located in the same region. History states that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who was the founder of Vaishnavism tradition was attracted to this divine place and spent a great part of his life at Jagannath.

Also called as Chariot Festival, Dasavatara, Navadina Yatra, and Gundicha Yatra, Rath Yatra is one of the most awaited festivals celebrated annually in the state of Orissa. Being an important pilgrimage of the Char Dham circuit, Puri is known for its high tourism rate throughout the year but in June and July, there is a sudden increase in the Puri tourism rate. There is a belief in Hinduism that Lord Krishna seeks to visit Mathura, his birthplace and this is why there is a yatra organized every year from Jagannath Temple to Gundicha Temple. During this entire procession, the wooden idols of three deities are carried from Jagannath Temple to Gundicha Temple in Puri. Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga

Rameshwaram Jyotirlingam is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and holds immense religious significance in Hinduism. It is located on Rameswaram Island in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, in the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, which is renowned for its impressive architecture and long corridors. According to Hindu mythology, this is the place where Lord Rama, an incarnation of Vishnu, worshipped Lord Shiva to absolve the sin of killing Ravana, a Brahmin king of Lanka. To perform the ritual, Rama instructed Hanuman to bring a Shiva Linga from the Himalayas. As Hanuman took too long, Sita (Rama's consort) made a Linga out of sand, which was consecrated and worshipped by Rama. This Linga came to be known as Ramalingam, and the one brought by Hanuman was installed beside it, known as Viswanatha Linga. Pilgrims consider a visit to Rameshwaram as spiritually purifying, and it is a vital stop in the Char Dham Yatra. The temple is also associated with the ancient Setu (Adam's Bridge), believed to have been built by Rama’s vanara (monkey) army to reach Lanka.

Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra

Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra is one of the most famous and grand religious festivals in India, held annually in Puri, a coastal town in the state of Odisha. It celebrates the divine journey of Lord Jagannath (a form of Lord Vishnu/Krishna) along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra, from their temple to the Gundicha Temple, located about 3 kilometers away. This yatra (chariot procession) usually takes place in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July). Massive, elaborately decorated wooden chariots are built anew each year for the deities, and millions of devotees gather from around the world to pull the ropes of these chariots in a spiritually uplifting act of devotion. The festival is unique because it allows people from all walks of life, including non-Hindus, to have darshan (view) of the deities, as the idols come out of the temple premises. After staying at the Gundicha Temple for nine days, the deities return in a similar procession known as the Bahuda Yatra.
